Come out, come out wherever you are! Are there any real men out there? I appreciate a guy who is "real. " No pretense! I appreciate a guy that when you look at him, you can see the joy of the Lord on his face. This is the way I am and I like a guy that thinks just like I do. Putting the Lord first and then putting a love for people into action are the biggest priorities in my life. I love being around lots of people, but I am also perfectly secure in my quiet times alone. I can do sporting events and an evening at home watching a dvd or two. One of my favorite sayings is, "It's not what you do, it's who that you are with. " If you love to have great conversation on the phone for hours, then let's talk. Though, you know you have a true friend when you can sit in the car for hours and not feel obliged to talk. Here are some things I like to do-- mostly cook and go out to eat. The Food Network is one of my favorite stations to watch. I love the beach. I love the mountains. I love HGTV and I love great Gospel music. Favorite tv shows are-- NCIS, The Unit, Lost, Stargate SG-1, Survivor, and old Mash reruns. My favorite Bible verse is, Isaiah 40:31, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;they shall mount up with wings as eagles;they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. "I love freshly fallen snow, the smell of a spring shower, seagulls at the beach in the summer, and the color of the leaves in the autumn. I love the smell of freshly baked cookies and a roast in the oven. I love a great voice that sings with passion. I love a sense of humor and uncontrollable laughter. I love Chik-Fil-A and five star restaurants. My family and my faith are the most important things to me. Going to church and spending time with good Christian people should be a delight and not a duty. I am patriotic, but not political. AND I think that being in love is the best feeling on the face of the Earth! It would be great to feel that way again.
