Hello, my name is Derrick. I am a full time student and I am also in the military. I live for Christ, and have a strong passion to be a servant for Him andto others. Being a Christian in todays world requires strong faith, and prayer with humbled patience. As I grow in my walk with the Lord, I continue to see that He Never wasts any of are pain and sorrows, that every experience good or bad is all a part of Gods mold to shape are life's. The soldier in me might seem somewhat intimidating, but really I am a very soft hearted sensitive man and am a BIG hugger (Grandmas Boy) . I do say it how it is, seeing serious issues Thur rose colored glasses is just another way of avoiding truthful facts about moral and political problems that effect are Christian beliefs, and world issues. My long term goals are to finish college with a bachelors degree in marketing, and to become a chaplain for the Army National Guard. I am praying and waiting for the wife that God has for me, and dream of the children we will have, To have that warm and fuzzy feeling of a loving family of my own. I look forward to growing old with the women I will have commented myself to, spending holidays with the children that we raised, and sharing the love they have with their children. Before I meet my heavenly Father I want see as much of the world as I can, experiencing every breath taking sight, and every journey with the the woman I love.
