I would like to meet a very attractive and very conservative (not neo-conservative) Christian woman who wants to be a wife, homemaker and mother.
I'd like to meet someone of my own ethnic and cultural background (caucasian and American) myage (34) or younger. Iam not interested in pursuing a relationship with a woman who smokes or drinks or is divorced
I like to joke around all the time with friends and family. I've been told that I'm hilarious and personable. I am serious when appropriate and want to live an effective life!
I want to live as wisely as possible in the world, especially as days grow darker before the Lord returns. One truth that is very important to me that many believers don't realize is that scripture teaches the redemption and reconciliation of all man(and woman)kind (actually the "kosmos" in Greek, from which we get "cosmos"), especially in Paul's writings (2 Cor. 5:14 & 19, Rom. 11:15, 1. Cor. 15:22). "For God was pleased to have all his fulness dwell in him [Christ], and through him to reconcile to himself ALL things, whether things on earth or things in heaven (in heaven?), by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. "-Col. 1:19-20 I believe that this is a major truth of the gospel that has been supressed by religious institutions. The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost, and that includes all of humanity! "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but TO SAVE THE WORLD (kosmos) through him. "-John 3:17 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and EVERY tongue confess THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, to the glory of God the Father. "-Phil. 2:9-11 "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. "-Isaiah 46:10 "For God has bound ALL men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them ALL. "-Romans 11:32 "For as in Adam ALL die, so in Christ will ALL be made alive. "-1 Cor. 15:22
I'd like to invite Trinitarians who are reading this to consider Jesus' statements, "The Father is greater than I. "-John 14:28 and "My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. "-John 10:29 Greater than doesn't mean equal to. "For he [Christ] must reign until God has put all his enemies under his feet. . . When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all. "-1 Cor. 15:25 & 28 Co-equality??? See also Jesus' usage of the phrase "MY God" and Paul's usage of the phrase "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. " Another statement to consider is that "the Lord IS the Spirit" (2 Cor. 3:17). This is contrary to the Trinitarian concept of the Holy Spirit being a third person distinct from the son of God. Speaking of the Spirit of Truth, Jesus said, "you know him, for he lives WITH you and will be IN you. " The very next statement is, "I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you. "-John 14:17b-18 "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. "-John 4:21-23 I would like my future wife to stand with me on these things. There is much more to tell on these topics, so please send me a message with your thoughts or questions if you would like to hear more about this, even if you're not interested in a romantic relationship.
Q. What would be the perfect setting for a first meeting with a new friend or date? Describe it.
A. A no-pressure setting would be the best. Maybe an outdoor activity or just something really casual. I'd like to find a common interest and plan the meeting around that. Actually with the right person I just enjoy talking and it doesn't have to be any place special.
Q. What are your favorite activities? (Including sports, leisure, artistic/musical, etc. )
A. My friend took me to an Altan concert once (Celtic music) and I loved it! I enjoy authentic music very much. I like movies that are CLEAN, and interesting and informative things on TV (occasionally just entertainment). In my spare time I like to work on video projects and music. I like vacation trips too. As far as exercise I like playing racquetball although I seldom do that these days.
Q. Describe your current occupation. Do you like what you do? What is your dream job?
A. I do all the programming for a website I run with my dad. It's kinda nice. I learned how to program on-the-job. I want to be able to create my own independent video documentaries and movies, and I'd like to use my talents to help spread the gospel.
Q. Where did you go to school (i. e. high school or college/university, etc. )? What did you study? Did you like it? Would you like to do more?
A. I went to high school in western Washington state and started studying radio/tv at Biola University in California. I had a pretty hard time there after a while. I think it was because things I witnessed around me at school were wearing on me. I ended up finishing school in 2000 at the University of Montana here in Missoula with a major in radio/television production. I did like some aspects of college very much and enjoyed the friends I met. I find that I'm learning a lot at this point too and will continue to study in whatever situation the Lord has me.
Q. What are some of your personal goals in life?
A. I would like to use my talents as much as possible (music, video/film) and have a positive impact on other people. I would like to be known as a person who stood for truth as well, specifically truth about my faith and truth about our country.
Q. Where were you born? Have you ever traveled? If so, where? What is your ideal adventure?
A. I was born in Seattle, Washington. Other than the U. S. I've been to Canada, Mexico and Panama. I do like traveling occasionally and would love to visit St. Thomas in the U. S. Virgin Islands! Europe might be nice, and maybe Japan.
Here are a few quotes that are important to me:
"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. "- Thomas Jefferson
"Money makes a good servant but a poor master. "
"Buy the truth, and sell it not. . . "- Prov. 23:23 KJV
I think I'm a very loving person who wants to have a committed life-long relationship with another very loving person who wants the same thing.
