Just joined singlec. com. After a long time of living my life apart from God, I got to the point where He was the only place to turn to for an answer to my despair. And God had mercy on me, gave me faith, and purchased me with the blood of Jesus when I repented of my sins, accepted Christ, and gave my life to Him in September 2005.
Ever since then, God has kept me safe and sound in the palm of His hand. Every day has its worries, but when I am weakest, is when I remember that I am strongest -- through Jesus, the Holy Spirit indwelling in me, and God the Father in heaven. I am 29-year old Christian artist (illustration, design, web) working in K-12 education. I love powerful stories that witness about God, whether it's testimony, or parable.
I enjoy gospel music, dancing to gospel music, nature of all sorts (camping, hiking, going to the beach), sports (especially basketball), fellowshipping over dinner, cooking, and all that sort of good stuff. I love to roll up my sleeves, get into something good, ask the Lord for the green light, get serious, and learn all about it.
It's interesting what Paul said about marriage and how in marriage, the woman seeks to please the man, and vice versa. I know this is true, but ideally I would like to minister together with my wife in many ways. Serving the Lord together would be a great joy to me. But before that, I am looking forward to meeting some of my fellow Christian sisters, and seeing where the Lord leads. May God bless us as we seek His Will!
