My wife of thirty-two years (passed away July 2005) helped me grow spiritually and shared my life and desires with me. She was very nurturing to our children, helping me to maintain a level of calmness during my three sons turbulent teenage years. As a result of my loving relationship with my wife, I am looking for another partner that I can continue to grow with.
I want to share all parts of my life; very interested in a companion that will stretch me socially and spiritually. I want to share the joy of the outdoors with a companion, hiking and traveling around the country, visiting national parks and historic sites and cities. I want to grow older with someone experiencing all the joys of a compassionate relationship while developing new interests together. My chief characteristics are: the ability to find the humorous side, the ability to listen to different types of people and the ability to remain calm during a crisis (except maybe my sons teenage years - fortunately they are all adults and good friends now) .
As far as lesiure time, I enjoy hiking when the weather permits or sight seeing in mountain towns. I always enjoy exploring new places. Once in awhile I will see a new movie. I enjoy attending concerts (symphony, country western, some rock) and plays (musicals and drama) . And no I don't sing; one pastor said years ago that if I didn't sing that was a blessing. And I haven't gone to a ballet in a long time - I am fairly grateful for that but I suppose even a guy can learn new things.
