"May the bends in life's road ahead be like a lover's curves waiting for your gentle exploration. " I wrote that as a reminder to myself to trust God's will and the unknowns that He has planned for me. I am becoming more & more in love with Christ, and cannot imagine fully dropping my guard apart from Him. I really enjoy contemporary worship music and churches that teach from whole passages in the Bible. Some of the sweetest moments as Christian have been with other friends who have spoken truth into my life. Other interests include dancing (contra - sort of folk dancing, swing, cajun, waltz). I enjoy cooking & entertaining, trying new food & wine. Honestly, there's nothing fat-free about me. Pass the biscuits. Living overseas has in some ways developed a false sense of security in the sturdiness of many American applicances, say for instance the toilet. Since I don't have my very own garbage disposal, one of my secret thrills is flushing old food down the toilet. I've pushed the envelope in this area. . . rancid soup is an obvious downer; mushy foods - a definite maybe. Chicken - a bit tricky. It's important to keep a high ratio of water to solids, or very bad things happen that include very expensive plumbers. New Year's resolutions this year include a compost pile.
