Thank you for reading my profile. It is an honor to do anything for the Lord. An overview of my past: Grew up Catholic, rejected some of the doctrines and practices; became born again at age 16. At 18 I backslid or fell away (whatever you want to call it) due to a growing education of other religions and evolution information. I learned about Taoism and later New Age philosophies - basically thinking that all truthful/loving ways lead to heaven; being non-judgemental. Also some Zen Buddhist teachings. It all went right along with massage therapy. At age 29, I re-dedicated my life to Christ, and asked him for forgiveness. I can't give a particular day because I was on my knees through the month of Feb, 1994. I had been with a woman for 8 years. I thought she had also given her life to Christ, but the day prior to my asking her to marry me she told me about the man she was involved with (intimately). It hurt, but I blessed them them both. I spent the next 5 yrs focused on Christ and growing, read the bible 5 times, met a lady; spent over 2 yrs with her, read the bible 2 more times, and at the time I was considering asking her to marry me she left me for a guy she just met and was making wedding plans in about a month. It tore me up inside so much that in 30 days I spent my 1st day in the hospital (since I was a baby) having an intestinal operation because the amount of stomach acid that caused an infection at my appendix area. The pain of that break up is better, and it has helped me to understand the incredible pain of rejection, and how I pray to God that I would never cause that kind of pain to anyone. The holyness of marriage is forever, and faithfulness and love should never die. It is symbolic of Christ and His church. I have taught in the jail for a couple of years, take care of children at church, occasionally host a youth group at my house, and am involved in a few other ministries. My leanings are toward the country, and simplifying life for family as God allows. Seeing/experiencing God's intricate detail in nature is special to me. I have a slim build, but muscular and strong, work out, run, try to eat healthy, am wellness oriented, have a BS in Biology and M. I. S. - Thesis in Medical Biotechnology. My priorities are God, family, friends/work (depending on the situation/need). May God bless you as you do His will, and search with hope for someone to share intimacy with.
