"I'm a Southern Girl at heart; but left south as a young girl to seek my fortune in the Big Apple; I had many exciting and adventurous professional and personal learning experiences. . . worked numerous jobs. . . many quite creative and unique(just flying by the seat of my pants many times). . . public relations, ran trade conventions, wrote a newspaper column and ad copywriting, owned a personnel recruiting firm, modeled, married a musician, sang with the band, hobnobbed with famous people for awhile(also became friends with wannabes who are now big BE'S in showbiz. . . divorced, lived and worked in England for a press service for 1 year, moved back to NYC, met my soulmate, ran a successful business with him for 18 years, sold out and retired early; then 2 years later I lost my mate. I try to live daily by what Christ said was the most important commandment - 'Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind and strength and thy neighbor as thy self' . A wonderful quote I find especially challenging is from Max Lucado. . . . "When your deepest desire is not the things of God, or a favor from God, but God Himself, you cross a threshold. My ideal match would have a true love of the Lord, love animals (especially dogs), be quick witted (doesn't have to be a total 'scream':))but would laugh easily (at my jokes, especially :). . . have a warm, sensitive, disposition, strong character, integrity, a love and empathy for others remembering that . . . there but for the Grace of God go I , be reasonably fit, successful with a spirit of adventure, have some eclectic tastes, an interest in his appearance, and some real 'soul' for music..
