O. K. , guys, here's the deal. I could, like most women, just give you the good stuff here and let you find out the rest for yourself, but I'm going to give it all to you here so there are no surprises later.
If you know a certain song by Meredith Brooks, that's me, to a "T". I don't apologize for it because it makes me strong. I'm a lot of things, like in that song. Most of what I am are opposites. I'm a very "black or white" kind of person. I'm seldom "middle of the road" about anything. I'm also very intense in anything to which I choose to devote my attention (work, friendships, leisure). I know what I want and am willing to wait to find the right man for me rather than rushing in. Call me cautious, but there are just too many horror stories out these days about people who get too familiar too soon. I tend to be blunt, look at life seriously, and develop very strong attachments to people who are important to me. These attachments stay forever. If the other person chooses to go away, I am sad, but once I love, I love forever.
I have a sense of humour but am more likely to crack one-line zingers with my dry humour rather than jokes or practical jokes.
I'm looking for a best friend, first. If that develops into more, great! Someone who is Lutheran, preferably, so that we don't have to have some topics "taboo" between us. That's happened too often in my relationships.
I don't want to appear rude or discount anyone. If you're NOT Lutheran, and would honestly like to learn more about me and my religious beliefs, please contact me and I'd be glad to tell you more about what I believe.
A guy who wants my time and attention will be truly loyal, honest, kind, friendly, giving of his time and attention, tolerant and share the same personal beliefs. . . not just at first, but always. Like my ad, I would rather see the real person rather than a pretty facade at the beginning to find the ugliness after.
If he shares my passions for the English language and classic books/movies, so much the better!
In return, he will get the most loyal, devoted, and dedicated friend (or more) that he could wish for.
If you've bothered to read all this, and are still interested, I would love to hear from you!
