A father and his young son are out hunting on a snowy day. The father suddenly sees something and runs ahead and his son cannot keep up quickly losing sight of him. He looks at the blanket of snow in the field and woods surrounding him. His dad is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, he looks down and in the snow the tracks his dad left stare back at him and so he follows in the path they have made. . . Finally he catches up to his dad and tells him "Dad, without your tracks in the snow to follow I would have been lost". . . Much like that father we leave "tracks" daily in our living and others (family and friends) see them plainly (though we may not think they do). . . Where do our tracks lead others?. . . Hopefully to know that we follow Jesus!! I am a strong christian with a great personal relationship with God. I try to keep Him first in all things and if I do that than He is guiding and can bless me abundantly. Hope you feel the same way in your walk. . . A few basics. . . I believe the Bible reveals to us the keys to developing in relationships. . . whether in friendship or marriage. Keeping God first in our lives gives us the basis to develop fully in these areas. To do otherwise changes the growth dynamic that God intends for us in our relationships. I am "waiting" until I am married so want to be upfront about that (not judgemental) and am very glad to do so for myself and my future wife. . . I would like you to think about this for one moment. . . Everyone we are with is either a potential mate OR will be someone else's. As a follower of Christ (as I assume we all are here on this site) how would you like a person to treat others in their life and even you, or to have been be treated by another or yourself?. . . the Bible gives us many reasons to wait until marriage. . . to provide protection of us/our partner and our hearts/emotions from developing in a relationship that is not of God but ourselves. That intimacy should wait for marriage so as not to affect our relationship with God while with someone so His will can be felt by us (seek first God in ALL things). Put another way. . . how can we expect God to be the guiding force in our lives (and esp in the most important thing in our lives. . . a partner) if we are actively living outside of His will? I am a friendly, nice, born-again christian. . . born an identical triplett!! I also am very youthful (most think I am mid-late 20's in appearance and activity) so do ya think you can keep up skiing (Whistler in the pic), snorkelling/island hopping (my sister lives on Magen's Bay in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands), rollerblading, etc. . . (good luck!!) :>) I am a Golf Professional. . . Keeps me busy!! Write and feel free to ask me any questions you have. Membership is up so you'll have to write/chat me first with your contact info. Thanks and God Bless.
