Do you truly love the Lord and seek a woman who is willing to be a true partner in your Christian walk? That's what I desire in a man. Do the words "forgiveness, acceptance, kindness and grace" ring sweetly in your soul? I can't see a relationship that doesn't contain these important Christ-like elements.
What I look for is simple - a demonstrated love for Christ, integrity, a bit of a romantic soul and someone who makes it clear he enjoys my company. How sweet is that? Game players stop here. Although I am quite independent, I've changed my mind about first contact. I won't initiate it first even if I'm interested. Better for the man to take the lead, even if I click "yes" or believe we would be a good match. Doesn't mean you aren't awesome!
I am told I am a "breath of fresh air" and a "free spirit" by those who know me. I've also been told I'm a good listener, supportive and non-critical. I very much appreciate the same in a man. I desire a best friend who is willing to put Christ first - that someone special to give my best to. If you are a "work in progress" as I am, willing to look forward and leave the baggage behind, I might be interested. We will not be perfect in this lifetime, just perfect in Him.
Turn-ons: Sense of humor (Don't take yourself too seriously? Awesome!) A warm smile. A non-critical disposition. Good listener - you can actually repeat what I said a minute after I actually said it (or at least fake it pretty good - at least you tried, lol!) A non-wandering eye (at least when you're with me. ) Turn-offs: Man. . . . guys. Those photos of you without a shirt in a bedroom setting? UGH! The serious, no smile look - scarrrrryyyyyy. Combative, egotistical, "take it or leave it" junk. References to your bedroom habits or your "sensuality" (Nothing wrong with a "Song of Soloman" passion in a MARRIAGE, but I DON'T believe in pre-marital sex, so this is an automatic no-no) . Oversensitivity - too ego-centered for me. The "spiritual but not religious" thing, all the while putting down those children of God who DO happen to respect God and His Word as written. Of course, I automatically disregard those who want slender. That's simply a personal preference and I respect that. It's not me (at this time, anyway, but definitely working on it for myself! LOL!) .
Wow! Whew! Got that all off my chest. Have a great day in the Lord, everyone!
