****FYI****I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO RESPOND TO YOUR MAILINGS DUE TO THE SITES NEW CONFIGURATIONS AND I CAN NOT AFFORD TO BE A MEMBER OF ALL OF THEM. . . LOL. . . THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST****Hi Guys! I sincerely and passionately love the Lord. I am a very optimistic person and endeavor to generate enthusiasm in others. I'm told I have a great sense of humor. I am a big cut-up and very playful. . . my mom said I was the only one of 7 who never grew up. . . LOL. I grew up in a strict home where my daddy was an eye surgeon and my mom was a stay-at-home-mom. . . ahhh the good old days! I am an outgoing sort of person and enjoy being with people and helping others. I enjoy life and endeavor to share that enjoyment. I enjoy the outdoors. . . hiking, camping (especially during the fall), fishing (I can bait my own hook), gardening (love to landscape), jet skiing (ful trottle), waterfalls, etc. I enjoy sports if I know the players. . . especially my students and church teams. I enjoy target shooting. I love card games and games in general. I am very competitive even if I don't have a prayer of winning. . . hence, I don't usually back away from a challenge. . . LOL. I enjoy being physically fit, but I'm not obsessive. I enjoy snuggling-up to read. I love baking for that special someone. I love sweet surprises! I delight in cuddling in front of an golden-oldie movie or a roaring fire sharing a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa. I love dogs, cats, horses, etc. I love all holidays. . . Christmas is my all time favorite, just ask my boys. . . and I love spending them with family and friends! I enjoyed my 1st skydiving experience a couple of Christmas' ago. . . what a BLAST! This past Christmas I took my sons snow skiing. . . they had a fabulous time. . . I will heal. . . LOL. . . and try again next year. Currently, I am working on my Master's. My adult sons are the loves of my life, but my world does not revolve around them. My eldest son has his Master's in Scenic Design and is partner in a design firm in NY. The 2 youngest were in the Marines Reserves to help with their college funds and both were called to active duty in March of 2005. . . my youngest spent 6 months in Iraq and is back in GA and back in school. . . my middle son was sworn-in active duty and was sent to Okinawa. . . from there he spent time in the Philippines, Korea and Iraq . He returned to the states in May. I am very proud of them for serving their country and for protecting us all. I am a very outspoken and open sort of person and I share a lot. . . maybe too much. If you ask me my opinion, you will get it, but you may wish you did not ask. . . LOL. I've been told I'm a blend of Miss Scarlet (the feisty part, not the selfish) and Miss Melanie. . . just depends on the circumstances. My perfect man loves the Lord and is devoted to the Lord and to His will in our lives. He loves the outdoors and travel. He enjoys teasing and he likes to be teased. He is passionate, affectionate, compassionate, considerate, confident, assertive and determined. He is a good conversationalist and is not easily swayed from is beliefs. . . though he will consider the possibility that he just might be wrong. . . LOL. He is a gentleman by nature. . . a man who opens doors. He proudly walks with his arm around me or holds my hand. He enjoys the friendship of family and friends. He is honest, intelligent, respected and educated. He is not pretentious or arrogant. He is not a coach potato or someone who spends endless hours on the computer. My perfect man loves my passion, for I tend to be passionate about most things I undertake not desiring to do anything in a half-hearted fashion, but always to my best ability.
