OK here goes -I maintain that friendship has to be the basis for a lasting and successful relationship. . . ergo. . . I am seeking a very special male friend. Of course, I would need to be "attracted" to this person and that could be through a number of means - including, but not limited to, spiritually, physically, intellectually, great sense of humour, quick wit, conversational, compassionate, passionate. This fella will be a conservative Christian - preferably of the same denomination as I am - and will uphold the Word of God and his relationship with Him before any and all else. Laodiceans need not apply, neither should those who do not speak the truth, are low in emotional intelligence, those who do not have empathy or compassion, those who put their needs above and before those of others, manipulators, control freaks, sociopaths. . . phew! Tall order? Nah, don't think so. Only the best will do - especially the ones that don't think that they are "the best"!!!
I would prefer a gentleman who was chivalrous, gentle, kind, yet no pushover! He would need to have 'spirit' and 'fire'. Ideally he would be creative and innovative. I admire courage and compassion. . . a generous person, but most of all - a man who's integrity is intact - strong and unafraid to live his life as the man God intended him to be. Interested in art, music, choral especially, all that is sacred, history, writing, serving others, gives of himself willingly, loves to laugh yet is able to be responsible and serious. . .
OK, that'll do for now - I've had a long hiatus away from here - but I'm back now! Yeehaaah - ready to face the future, bold, hopeful, confident, open, excited....
