My relationship with God is the most important aspect of my life. Every day I spend time reading and studying the Bible, praying. Honesty and integrity are vital, as is a good sense of humor! A man who is as dedicated to the Lord as I am is what I am seeking. Want to start with a friendship and slowly move towards more if that is what God has for us.
Must like cats, I have several and they are my children. Family is also very important, I'm close to my mom and two sisters. Due to my disability I can't work anymore but volunteer working in an office and with animals. I love to take walks and eat healthy (most of the time!).
Music is a passion. Listening that is! Blues are my favorite, contemporary artists like Susan Tedeschi, Jonny Lang, Chris Cain, Jimmy Dewrance. Contemporary Christian artists: Third Day, Mercy Me. Israel KamaKawiwoole, Jackson Browne, Andre Rieu, Muriel Anderson and Peter Daldry are some favorite artists also. As far as classical composers or pieces it is Pachelbel's Canon in D, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Vivaldi and Strauss that appeal to me the most. Cooking is a hobby, everything from pasta to pizza to Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, casseroles. Love that slow cooker!
I'd have to say that reading is what I do the most of, averaging ten books a month. The local library is an invaluable resource for me. I love mystery/suspense, Christian fiction, fantasy/fiction. My life is pretty simple and I enjoy every day. A positive attitude goes a long way and God gets me through every day with gratitude and humility.
