My life has been devoted to the arts. I am a painter and a singer. I have dabbled in acting. . . . . improvisation being my fave thing to do in that arena! My 25 year career was in graphic arts and advertising. I have studied The French Impressionists with a grand passion for many years. And such was my focus until 9/11.
Today I am the mother of a very brave soldier (and squad leader) in Afghanistan. My focus is now on the Military, American History, esp. the Revolution and the Founding Fathers. What a group!! (Obviously, I am drawn to brilliant rebels who change the world. ) I still sing, write, photograph my six gorgeous puddy cats, and look at my latest painting, sitting on my easel, drying. For now, the inspiration to paint has been eclipsed by world events. But the inspiration to do finished black and white drawings of the Founding Fathers has arrived, and I have begun my portrait of Thomas Jefferson. Photos only please. . . . . and from this century. :})
For those of you who use the very overused phrase "no baggage". . . . . . here's what you do; go to the nearest hospital, head for the nursery. There are newborns there----and they have no baggage. :}) Thanks for dropping by! Have a great day.
