I finally found out what things were most important to me. First is love. I want to show and feel the love that Christ portrayed in his life. Can you imagine how wonderful life would be if this type of love was freely given, without apprehension or prejudice? The next thing of importance is genuine heart-felt relationships with those that are most important to me (i. e. significant other, family, friends, etc. ) . Let's face it. . . honesty is key. When I look for friendships or romantic relationships, I seek out those that are honest and loyal. What are the magic ingredients that make relationships work? Well besides the obvious chemistry, I believe that a relationship must consist of individuals that are compassionate, open-minded, patient, full of passion, and a realization that no one is perfect.
I'm not a brainiac, but I can hold my own when it comes to about any subject (within my experiences) . I learn best visually and I am a hands on learner. I do like to read, but mostly textbooks/non-fiction. This is probably because learning new information sets my creative juices flowing. I'll read a sentence and imagine the possiblities or the implications of the statement. It ends up that I may only read a page because I have been inspired to create something with my hands (what can I say, I'm an engineer, I love to make things) . What I am looking for is a normal woman with talent, character, love, compassion, and passion in general. It certainly helps if one can carry their weight in an intellectual conversation, but I find it refreshing to be able to shoot the breeze about the small stuff too. You know the warm, relaxed feeling you have when you wake up on a cold morning and you are snuggled under the covers. . . This is the kind of relationship I seek.
