Who am I?Although difficult to put into words I will try to give you some insight.
I believe in treating others the way you want to be treated. I believe in honesty and openness. I believe that the true value in life comes from what you do with and for others. It is the people you meet, the things that you experience and the memories you make that really matter.
Having a positive attitude and learning new things is important. I'm always on the go and hardly ever home. I miss things like cooking with or for someone I care about. I look forward to walks on the beach holding hands. I miss relaxing at home or working on projects with someone special next to me. I have been known to give some pretty good back rubs; and hugs, cuddling and simply being together by the fire are all great things. My son is 38, lives in the state and has three children. I have two small parrots that delight in acting like clowns. I am a hiker and gardener in the good weather and like to cross country ski in the winter.
I have always looked at life with a positive attitude. My cup is always more than half full and lit would be wonderful to make it overflow. I lost true love way too soon, and even so I know that everything happens for a reason. I have moved forward and I'm hopeful that I can find an open and honest relationship with the trust and intimacy that great love brings along with it. Experiencing life with someone while enjoying great food and some good wine, traveling to wonderful places and just enjoying each day together. Good friends and family are the glue that hold life together.
I am looking for a best friend and soul mate that wants to experience life together. I think we all want someone who can laugh right along with us because humor is important to help us get through life. I would like to be able to trust someone just as much as they can trust me. I was fortunate to have had a relationship where we could anticipate what each other thought about and needed. I know that kind of relationship exists and I am looking forward to finding it.
