How to begin? I'm a writer so this should be relatively easy, but I find myself blocked: do I try to be cute? Funny? Vague and mysterious, or tell'em everything right up front. Most of the ads are pretty simple: "Looking to get to know someone, Nice, respectable, doesn't play games. " True - who doesn't want that? I've certainly had enough of mean, lazy, selfish players. So what's next? Not sure I'm the best one to ask about me, I'm my worst critic. I have plenty of compassion for others but tend to be very self-critical - wanting to follow God so closely, I trip over my own feet. Like dancing salsa, looking down at my feet to make sure I get the steps right instead of just surrendering to his lead. How do other's see me? Serious, (introverted thinker) Emotional (transparent, heart on my sleeve) Playful (five year old in a 38 year old body ) Traditional (I won't approach the man, he is the head of the house so he should take the lead) Religiously spiritual (bible study, prayer, open discussion forums, Joy fm radio, strict movie/media diet) Country girl (rollin' sideways down a hill, eatin' fresh picked wild blackberries, ready to build tree house, willing to use an "outhouse" if need be) Nature lover (where I met God for the first time, in the quiet stillness, by the Rogue River in Oregon). In summary, I am a mother, a teacher, a writer, a sister - devoted, creative, compassionate, and following the light of Christ
