I want you to know that I am actually a quiet kind of person. I am a man who loves God with his whole heart and am committed to my personal relationship with Jesus Christ my Lord. He is my all. I realize that without Jesus I am nothing. I pray continually for the mind of Christ and for a heart after God’s own heart. Jesus is not only my Savior but also my Lord. I pray I will always demonstrate this in every area of my life. My prayer closet is essential to growth in Jesus Christ and to see the powerful work of the Holy Spirit manifested.
I am caring, compassionate, and giving. Confident in my relationship with the Lord to do all He calls me to do today and tomorrow. I will trust and be faithful and expect the same. I am cautious, not impulsive; like to plan my day rather than be impulsive, however I am big on being flexible. Prefer structure but am notrigid. Like being busy yet enjoy moments to kick back and relax. I am not a late night person, never have been, and love the early morning. It is so peaceful and quiet. I love “music” with its variety of styles. Love country and the country western sound, Big Band, Rock & Roll, Soft Jazz, Blues, Reggae, and more, however I prefer Christian lyrics with most of the music. I very much enjoy Classical Spanish guitar for its sound which I find festive and also romantic. I cherish Inspirational music and the Hymns, Praise & Worship, Southern Gospel, and Contemporary among others. Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk Rock, etc. can’t handle it. I have played the guitar in the past and am in the market for a bass guitar to play in our church services. I am slowly attempting to “get a grip” on the Harmonica.
I have a passion for ministering to the body of Christ with the hope of seeing them "be all they can be" in God's army. To see them develop a passion for lost souls and become filled with the Spirit of the Living God and actively involved in Christian service whether it be local, national, or international. I am involved in my church on a regular basis. The Lord has called me to leading a men’s ministry and teach an adult class on Sunday morning. Occasionally I fill in for the pastoral staff on Wednesday evenings for the main worship service. I love every moment I spend in preparation and delivering the Word of God. Humor. Got to have it! Laughter is healthy for the soul. Life is short and God smiles on us when we have fun. Fun with family, friends, and co-workers.
By the way, I am very much an outdoors person. I enjoy adventure, travel, hunting, fishing, backpacking, camping, hiking, backpacking, trap shooting, skeet shooting, always wanted to try “crazy quail”, scuba diving, fast pitch softball, baseball, football, racquetball, and GOLF. In fact, if I have an addiction it is golf. I am able to keep it under control. Love the mountains, the plains, and the beach. Always had an interest in horses, but cannot say I can really ride. Love big dogs and big cats. Have neither…nor a horse. Went riding one time…that’s another story. Still have an interest in horses…even more so now.
Enjoy photography, woodworking, and remodeling homes. I like to see the results of my work. Its satisfying. Love old cars, especially the cars from the 50’s and 60’s. I have been called into the ministry but am open to various ways.

What I'd like to do on a first date. . . Smile, pray, go to Starbucks at the beach, on a mountain top, or other similar public place and get acquainted. Share hopes, dreams, encourage oneanother, pray together before we depart, and begin to develop a friendship. My past relationships have taught me. . . No Comprimise! Relationships require a man and a woman to be surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord of their life and not just their Savior. To remain humble before God and know what God requires of them in a relationship. Each has specific responsibilities in a relationship for that relationship to be successful. When two people pray and seek God together for guidance and support one another they will be effective in developing each others purpose in the Kingdom of God which will reward themselves in their marriage. It takes three! Much more can be said. . .
To me, being a Christian means. . . Being a Christian means that you have died to self and Christ reigns in your heart. Your past is under the blood of Jesus and is to be remembered no more. With that said, we no longer live for ourselves, we are not to be self-centered but because Christ lives in us we are to Christ-centered. We have been given the mind of Christ and are expected to live accordingly to God's Word. We are to serve and not be served. So lets live in VICTORY and the beauty of His holiness and make a difference in this world. Life is too short so we must stop quarreling among ourselves by giving satan a foothold, consider others better than ourselves and be about the Father's business! In five years, I see myself To be a man of God walking ever closer with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. My life is His and I will do whatever He requires of me. Should the Father tell me to leave my country, I will go. Should He tell me to build an Ark. . . I'll build it! No, my name is not Evan. My favorite Bible passage is. . . I have too many scriptures all of whic are very meaningful. John 6:38-40 - For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day. ”Psalm 37:25 - Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly forsaken, nor seen their children begging for bread.
Colossians 1:21-22 - 21And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight??"23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister. One final thing I'd like to mention. . . Men and women are different, and those differences become their strengths when balancing the ball of life between them. Did you ever wonder why God commands men to love their wives while simply telling women to respect and submit to their husbands? In His foreknowledge, perhaps He knew these would be the greatest two issues in marriage. God's perfect design was for an to be the glory of God and the woman to be the glory of man. The sense of divine assignment fuels a man and a woman to respect each others gifts and liberates each other to fulfill their individual call, understanding that they will enjoy the benefits corporately. Consider these things ladies and pray for God's wisdom and your total surrender to Him to make the marriage you seek a true fulfillment of God's plan for your life.
