Briefly my interests include: visiting art museums, antiquing, music (contemporary Christian, jazz, classical, alternative rock, and some late nite acid jazz) and healthy cooking. Sometimes I cook for myself and stick mostly to a High-Protein, High-Fiber and Lowfat diet. I also dine out sometimes, but not fast food unless it's something like Subway or Boston Market, and no I don't mean the meat loaf! ;) I know many fantastic places to eat between N. C. and NYC, maybe you'll be the lucky one to try some with me! Some of my favorite tv shows are Trading Spaces, Nigella Bites, Love By Design, While You Were Out, etc. I have a good sense of humor and I usually make my friends laugh. I do not live in a big city right now, but I consider myself to be a city person, because I have lived in Seattle, in Washington D. C. , near San Francisco, near Philadelphia, and have visited most of the other biggest cities in the U. S. , and I like the availability of culture that they offer. People tell me I have excellent taste in music, food (no pun intended), modern design, even down to the gifts I give. I put a lot of thought into things like that. I understand modern very well, but also appreciate antique. Some of my favorite artists/designers and not necessarily in any given order are: johannes vermeer, verner panton, the TPG and the AAA, ross braught (he was a student of thomas hart benton and he was really good!!), austrian & german expressionists (especially their sculpture), shirazeh houshiary, the oshogbo school, melvin sokolsky (such incredible photos, his bubble series is awesome! have you seen it?), leonard baskin, alchemia/memphis, and many more. I am generally easygoing, do not like arguing, and have been a Christian for a long time. I am polite and appreciate good manners and thoughtful actions. I have a super appreciation for modern art. Since I am a programmer, I have a scientific side to me, but interest-wise, I obviously lean more towards the arts. I enjoy going to movies when I get a chance. I should mention I am a late night owl, not a morning person! I like to travel, have seen most of the U. S. , been to Asia. It would be nice to find a new friend(s) to go to movies, museums or out to eat, and I am open to these metropolitan areas in NYC, Philadelphia, or maybe even around Washington/Baltimore since I can travel there also. I am also open to emailing others outside of these immediate areas. I am open to possible friendships, maybe finding one that eventually leads to something more. Note: I exercise often and am serious about it. Besides working out, I also sometimes go Bowling and play Racquetball. I believe everyone should work hard at fitness regardless of their age/shape! Anyway, team sports bore me, I'm not into watching a bunch of guys running around on a court or a field, so if you're tired of guys spending all their time glued to the games, you don't have to worry about that with me, I'm not into that. I'd rather spend time doing more exotic stuff (music, restaurants, arts or exploring around someplace in the city). I have some great music most people have never even heard of, much less heard. P. S. If you haven't figured it out yet from all the above, I'm a nice guy. . . :)P. P. S. No offense but please do not send me any of those HALO wink things. I will not respond to any more of them. Thank you.
