Greetings to all. Recently moved back to New Orleans after having been gone for 20 years. If you live here you know how life has changed. The point of reference now is before the storm or after the storm. Some of my favorite restaurants are gone. . . . . but there are some new ones. My favorite two bakeries are gone - Lawrence's on Elysian Fields and of course McKenzie's. Everybody remembers those yummy turtles with the big glob of chocolate on that cookie.
I am thankful for the little things and even more thankful that my children are doing well. But most of all I am thankful for the Lord's kindness and mercy and provision!Have a great day!
