I'm hoping to find an intelligent man who is kind and generous, someone who ardently desires to worship God every morning of his life. . . preferably in California! I love spending time in worship with my Creator, mostly through contemporary praise music, which turns the focus away from my pettiness and onto God's great love and mercy. (Third Day, Delirious, and Rich Mullins are some of my favorite Christian artists!) I also love to visit monasteries on private retreats to engage in contemplative prayer, and I know a fantastic one in Santa Barbara, which sits up on a mountain ridge and has a spectacular view of the ocean. I really value my alone time, but I'm currently trying to find the balance between community and solitude in my life. If you're looking for Martha (St. or Stewart) in the kitchen, that's not me, but if you're looking for someone like Mary, who loves to sit at Jesus' feet in awe and wonder, then that's me. . . .
