I'M NOT A MEMBER CURRENTLY, SO I CAN'T RESPOND TO ANYONE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A RESPONSE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN YOUR MESSAGE. Hi - My name is Amanda. First and foremost, I am a Christian, and my faith is the most important part of my life. God has blessed me in so many ways - I have a great job, a wonderful family, good friends, a terrific church with fellowship for folks in their 30s and small groups too, plus a nice place to live with a great roommate. My friends would describe me as an organized but usually easy-going optimist. I have a quirky sense of humor and love to laugh as much as possible. At the same time, I am very direct and have been told that I'm "no shrinking violet. " I'm the oldest of four sisters and very close to my family. My parents are happily married after 36 years; I hope to find what they have in the not-too-distant future. My sisters are some of my best friends, and I love spending time with them. I also hang out quite a bit with my friends from church and elsewhere. Otherwise, in my spare time, I like to exercise at the gym, play tennis, boogie, bike, walk around town, and occasionally hike/ski/sail. I'm also a classically trained mezzo-soprano, but not singing currently. My tastes run from art museums, musicals and eating at ethnic restaurants, to Red Sox games, watching the latest adventure flick and enjoying pizza and rootbeer. I am an Ivy-educated intellectual, but I also love pop culture and watching fun movies and TV shows (e. g. , Heroes or the Amazing Race). Traveling is a passion of mine. Finally, I am an enthusiast when it comes to nutrition, organic foods, cooking healthful vegetarian cuisine (seafood too), vitamins and all things health-related. But I also have this addiction to Newman's dark chocolate peppermint cupes. . . Just a few extra notes: I am looking for someone in the New England area. I'm afraid that I cannot respond to everyone who writes to me - life is happily busy! Best of luck, and God bless!
