Hi! I'm new here, and I don't know how long I'll stay, but you never know what God has planned! As for me and who I hope to meet. . . I am a hard working single mom. I have 2 teenagers who live with me most of the time, and I strive to teach them to be balanced, compassionate, caring, and confident people who can live out Christ's message everyday to their friends. No easy feat for teenagers, and it's teaching ME as much as I'm trying to teach THEM! Christ is the center of my life. Period. However, there is no label to my style of christian walk, nor do I wish to have one. I attend a nondenominational church, was raised Lutheran, attended a Lutheran bible school, and beleive the bible is wholly true and wholly inspired by God. I also believe that many christians are so busy trying to PULL people into the Kingdom of God that they're missing the whole point. . . . . . . . . . Let's LIVE as Christ lived, LOVE as Christ loved, and show the world with our example, NOT by arguing whether dancing/drinking/attire/whatever is scriptual or biblical. Let us love our neighbors as ourselves. When we all begin loving our neighbors, the world will WANT what we have. I want to have FUN in this life on earth. That means I like to be around people who enjoy their work, their friends, their personal walk. I want to grow spiritually, every day. I want to learn new things. I don't enjoy superficial chit chat, I have enough of that in my job. I work in sales and am around customers all day long. I strive for deeper relationships with those I spend my free time with. I have been single for many years, and I would love to be married again one day. However, I have struggled to meet men who understand what it means to WALK their TALK. We all have our own history, and it makes us who we are. God forgives us for that, and I don't hold it against you. . . on the contrary, maybe it makes you all the more interesting and compassionate!! But, IF you haven't dealt with your past issues, then perhaps you aren't ready to be hanging out on sites such as this. Please do yourself(and us women) a favor and talk to God, your friends, your pastor. . . . get yourself together. I am an optimistic, adventurous woman who loves to travel, listen to music, be outside when it's nice, and visit with friends. I work hard to live a healthy life, so I can be the best Mom for my kids. I don't subscribe to conventional denominational doctrine, so if that's what your faith is BASED on, we might not relate well. If you are actively growing your own faith, desiring a life of service, and find JOY in your personal walk, we might enjoy getting to know each other!
I'm not a fan of the hugs and winks. . . if you want to write, write. I'm sorry, but I don't respond to anything other than notes. Thanks.
