A warm hello!. . . thanks for checking my profile.
Being an Englishman I not only have the odd accent but also enjoy a healthy laugh at myself! Chapters in my life journey flow from rock-musician, to 9 years in care of the disabled (incl Nursing training) , theology, leadership, digital arts and new media, I've even been an intense marathon runner. I had chosen to be on my own for a while, and discovered that I miss very simple things the most. . . Coming home to someone who cares, making you a cuppa as you put your feet up, then sharing how our days have gone (with a cuddle) . . . making a meal together, perhaps with a glass of vino and lots of laughter. (Truthfully don't enjoying coming home to an empty place)
SO. . . with restored energy I love spontaneity, enjoy jazz, blues, classical music, motor-cycling, hiking and conversation++ Being a dad is a wonderful gift, my kids are 14, 19 & 21 and all live their mom. I am very open to a situation involving kids. At this age/stage I have learned a few things! I look for a relationship that allows us to both be real. May I be blunt - If you have your "issues" totally together, please move on to the next guy. "Never trust anyone who doesn't have a limp" It's good to be able to share feelings/thoughts/dreams and explore life together without judgment.
Part of what I seek is a spiritual connection - praying together. I am a Christian (not a judgmental bigot, or a great church guy, but simply someone who has a relationship with Jesus) An initial mutual attraction is obviously important, pictures are good but often don't reflect the spirit/charisma of a person. . . It seems that only by meeting can we know if there is that 'spark'. . . If things click, then I want to go slow to allow friendship to grow (along with the romantic!)
