I am an enthusiastic go-getter in life, who can actually be shy in a dating setting. I enjoy getting out and doing everything from jazzercise to hiking to volleyball. My adventurous spirit means I love to travel and am willing to try new things (especially food-did anyone say chocolate?) . Being a nurturing & open person seems to come easily to me as I truly enjoy meeting others' needs and find myself caring about neighbors and friends alike. I love being a mom, but also relish the fact that some have already "launched" and the others are about to! My upbringing in the Catholic church gave me my first foundations of faith, but I found that as I grew in my faith and life, I began to look for a church which allowed me to have an adult faith with the freedom to think through my choices while also giving me a strong faith community to be a part of. I am a very spiritual person where I feel connected to God in daily life, but I find the connection best in Christian community. I am fully involved in my church, and I don't miss service for the selfish reason that it feeds me for the coming week! I find that it uplifts me, especially the music (both praise and traditional) it keeps me going through the ups and downs of life.
