First, let me thank you for reading my profile. I hope God will bless you with the desires of your heart. As for me, I am a Christian gentleman possessing character, integrity and a good heart. . . faithful, reserved, romantic, kind, good conversationalist, successful, blessed by God. Grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana, and am, therefore, a "Cajun". Also grew up in the church, accepted Jesus as my savior as a child, became the prodigal son from about 18 to my early 30's, then re-dedicated my life to the Lord (when I came to my senses). My faith and walk with God since then has been THE blessing of my life, although He has blessed me in many ways. Truly He is a good God! I enjoy ocean cruises, snow skiing, theater, fine dining, great wines, jogging and reading and collecting hard-cover science fiction books. Am a "quality over quantity" kind of guy. For those who have read this far, please allow me to answer a question I'm often asked, as well as to leave you with a personal assurance. First, the question. . . why havn't I married? The answer is that I loved someone with all my heart in my 30's. I planned to marry her but it didn't work out that way. It took my heart a long time to heal. Also, I am a very discriminating man when it comes to a mate and marriage. I know what I'm looking for, and if God is so gracious as to bring her into my life and to bless us with marriage, then it will be for life. I'm unwilling to settle for less than God's best when it comes to marriage. Now for the assurance. I am not a "player" as some men appear to be. Actually, though I have opportunities, I really don't date much. I'm only interested in asking a lady out, and in dating, if she appears to possess the qualities I seek, if I think the Lord has brought us together, and if I believe I might want to spend the rest of my life with her once I got to know her (and assuming she'd want me!). I don't believe in wasting my, or other people's, time. My intentions are sincere. . . I seek a very special, Godly woman with whom I can be friend, soul-mate, husband and lover to (in that order!). . . to laugh and cry with. . . and to share the blessings (and trials) of life with. Again, thank you for reading my profile and may God, our Father, richly bless you.
