My belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation is the basis for my life. I spend time in the Word of God on a daily basis, and believe that prayer makes a difference in my life as well as the lives of those I pray for. My sons (3of them) and grandchildren (6 of them) are very important to me. I enjoy the time I get to spend with both my immediate and extended family. I am very comfortable with my life but sometimes get lonely. I enjoy being with other people, but I am not uncomfortable when alone. I enjoy my work and am good at what I do, but I am not a workaholic nor a ladder climber. I have a good sense of humor and like to laugh, but I can also be serious and caring. I enjoy the beauty of nature and like going to places where I can enjoy God's creation with people I care about. I traveled extensively when I was a child because my parents were missionaries. Now I travel throughout Oregon and sometimes into California and Washington for work. I am commited to helping to provide quality of life for elderly people in assisted living facilities. I am a good listener, but I can also carry my part of a conversation. I have a lot of life experience, but I believe there is still more to enjoy. I have a positive attitude and there is not a whole lot that upsets me. I don't especially like confrontation, but I do like to resolve conflict and move on. I don't hold grudges and I don't sulk. I am a happy person, and I am thankful for all the Lord has given me - salvation, family, and purpose.
