There was a time when I reveled in being alone. . . no more. I've grown weary of being always alone, although I will probably want some "me time" within a relationship. I'm looking for a sincere Christian man to help me in my spiritual walk, and I he, as husband and wife. I try to read my Bible every day, thank God for every good thing, and seek His guidance. I don't always succeed. Having never been married and done very little dating (the last 20 years, as a Christian) this is sort of uncharted territory for me, and I'm hoping to find someone who's understanding, patient, forgiving, etc. as I learn to become part of a couple (which, though I desire it, is a scary thing to me!) . I prefer a rural/small town lifestyle; like dogs; am not shy, but not outgoing either; enjoy the simple things in life, watching a fire, sunshine, birdsong, line-dried linens; try to eat healthy and exercise enough to be fit, but am not into sports. I like many kinds of music, but lean toward Christian (contemporary & hymns) , classical, Appalachian, and Celtic. Enjoy reading. Financially conservative, don't use chemicals in lawn/garden, am interested in renewable energy and alternative health methods (not the ones based on Eastern religions). That's enough about me, now about the man I'm looking for. Since I'm hoping for a relationship that leads to marriage, I must remain mindful of what I want in a husband. That said, he MUST have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! I don't know what your definition of Christian is, but mine revolves around that one item. I believe God has ordained the husband to be the head of the house, with the wife submitted to, but not subservient to, the husgand. . . and I will not submit myself to a man who is not submitted to Christ! Thanks for taking the time to read this through, and God bless you and direct you in your search!
